    How do I frame an art print?

    Good news—you don’t have to!

    All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

    Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

    How do I hang art prints?

    It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

    Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

    Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

    Can you actually tell it's a cocker spaniel?
    Yes — from a couple of steps back the long ears, the feathered legs and the raised tail all read clearly. Up close it dissolves into loose scribble, which is part of the appeal. Hang it at eye level with clear wall around it and both readings work as you walk past.

    Will it look odd next to colourful furniture?
    Not usually. Black and white sits alongside almost any colour scheme because it adds contrast rather than another hue. It works best when the wall behind it is plain paint, though — if your sofa, cushions and rug are all patterned, give it a calmer wall elsewhere in the room.

    Does it work as a pair with another dog drawing?
    It does, as long as the second piece is equally simple. Two scribble drawings hung side by side at the same height and size look deliberate, especially in a hallway. Avoid mixing it with a detailed painted or photographic dog portrait — the two styles pull against each other.
