    Test it this way: if the hallway feels safe, size up. A single tangle of black ink builds a sitting cocker spaniel, and it brings a bit of movement to a wall that has been playing it careful.     How do I frame an art print?

    Good news—you don’t have to!

    All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

    Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

    What makes Fab frames so good?

    How do I hang art prints?

    It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

    Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

    Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

    Is the dog still recognisable as a cocker spaniel from across the room?
    Yes. The long feathered ears, domed head and sitting stance read clearly from a few metres away. Up close you see the tangle of individual lines, and from further back it settles into a solid, recognisable spaniel shape. Hanging it at eye level in a medium size keeps both readings available.

    Will it look odd next to colourful art or patterned wallpaper?
    Black on white is easy to place. It gives the eye somewhere quiet to land, so it holds up next to bright prints and busy paper. If your wall is heavily patterned, leave a clear border of wall around it or use a wider mount so the linework does not compete with the pattern behind.

    What size works above a sideboard or console?
    Go for something that covers roughly two thirds of the furniture width. Because the drawing is portrait and has a lot of white around the dog, a medium or large size stops it looking small and lost. Keep the bottom edge around 20 to 25cm above the surface so the two feel connected.
