    Om detta konstverk

Most dining rooms have plenty of light and nowhere for it to settle. A pale wall, a table, a lamp, and the evening never quite arrives. Deep plum and near-black do that job here without a tin of paint. Hang it long above a sideboard, low enough that the lowest figs sit just above the surface, and the wall gains the depth a white room never gets on its own. Candlelight helps. So does a walnut or dark oak table, where the purples pick up the grain and the pink flowers keep the whole thing from going gloomy. Keep the wall colour warm off-white rather than grey, or the greens turn cold. It is a dinner-party picture, and a Tuesday supper starts to look like one. On canvas the dark ground runs to the edge, so it reads as part of the wall itself.

Are Fab canvas prints good quality?

Absolutely. We use museum-grade canvas (the same stuff galleries use) stretched over solid wood frames. The canvas is thick enough that you can't see through it, and we wrap the print around the edges so there's no white border it looks finished from every angle.

When people see it on your wall, they'll assume you bought it at a gallery, not online.

Does it come ready to hang? Is it available framed?

Yes to both. Every canvas comes stretched over solid wood and ready to hang - hardware's already on the back, just hang it up.

You can choose unframed (modern, minimalist look - the print wraps around the edges) or add our real wood frame for a more polished, gallery finish. Either way, it's ready to go straight on your wall. No assembly, no extra trips to the frame shop.

How do I know what size will actually work in my space?

Here's the rule of thumb: your canvas should take up about 2/3 to 3/4 of the width of your furniture (like a sofa or bed). So if your couch is 180cm, you want something around 100-120cm wide.

Too small of a canvas looks lost on the wall. Too big overwhelms the room. If you're between sizes, go bigger it's almost always better to have impact than to have something that disappears.

Still not sure? Contact our team with a photo of your space and we'll tell you exactly what size will work.

    What's your return policy?

If it shows up and you're not happy with it, you have 99 days to return it for a full refund—no questions asked.

We've been doing this long enough to know that sometimes a piece just doesn't work in your space, and that's fine. Just email us and we'll sort it out.

Will the dark background make my dining room feel smaller?

Hung wide and low above a sideboard it does the opposite. The near-black ground reads as depth, like a window into a darker room, and the pale wall around it looks brighter by comparison. The risk is a small version on a big wall, which sits like a dark hole. Keep the width close to the furniture beneath it and the room gains weight, not clutter.

Do the greens clash with a green painted wall?

They sit comfortably on deep greens close to the leaf colour, bottle green or forest, where the plums and pinks come forward and the leaves settle back. Cooler minty or sage walls fight the warmer greens in the picture. If your wall is grey-green, add a warm off-white mount or move it to a warm off-white or clay wall instead.

Does it work in a kitchen with bright daylight?

It works best where the light drops in the evening. In a bright white kitchen at midday the dark ground looks heavy and the fruit loses its glow. Choose a wall away from the window, ideally above a run of dark units or a dining end of the kitchen, and switch to lamp light at night. That is when the pink flesh of the figs comes alive.
