The deep blue blocks give a pale room a proper anchor point, so the sofa, the rug and the lamp finally read as one arrangement rather than three separate choices. How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.
What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Will the blue look too cold in a north-facing room?
It stays cool, but that is usually a plus in a north-facing room where warm colours can look muddy. The off-white background keeps things light, and the mid-blue areas soften under grey daylight. If you want to warm it up, put oak, walnut or a wool rug nearby rather than changing the artwork.
Does it work in a small room, or does it need a big wall?
It works in small rooms as long as it has clear wall around it. The blocks read as one shape, so crowding it with shelves or hooks flattens the effect. In a compact study or hallway, go a size down and keep the wall either side empty rather than filling it.
How does it look next to grey walls rather than white?
Good, provided the grey is cool rather than beige. Pale grey and soft blue-grey walls let the navy sit forward without the contrast feeling harsh. Against a warm greige or magnolia the blue starts to look slightly out of place, so a black frame helps bridge the two.
