    What it adds isn't clutter. It's vertical tension in the right places. One tall neck, one long tail, and a lot of quiet blue around them. Put it up and a flat nursery wall suddenly has a focal point a small child can find from across the room, without the colour shouting. Hang it above a cot, a changing unit or a low bookcase, at standing eye level rather than adult eye level. It sits happily with pale wood, cream bedding, woven baskets and soft grey rugs. Don't crowd it with busy patterned wallpaper or a dozen bright primary-colour posters, and don't shrink it to postcard size on a big wall. It needs the empty blue to work. Printed on premium fine-art paper, with the option of a real wood frame.

    How do I frame an art print?

    Good news—you don’t have to!

    All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

    Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

    What makes Fab frames so good?

    How do I hang art prints?

    It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

    Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

    Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

    Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

    Will this still suit the room once my child is five or six?

    It should. There's no baby-ish lettering or cartoon detailing, just a clean dinosaur shape on a calm blue background. Most children grow into the dinosaur theme rather than out of it, and the muted colours mean it still works when the cot becomes a bed and the bedding changes.

    Does it need other prints around it, or does it work on its own?

    It works on its own. The wide blue background gives the shape room to breathe, so a single medium portrait above a cot or bookcase reads clearly from across the room. If you'd rather build a set, keep it to two or three simple animal prints in the same soft colours and let this one sit in the middle.

    Will the soft blue clash with a nursery painted a different colour?

    It sits easily on off-white, pale grey, soft blue and sage walls. On a strong warm wall such as terracotta or bright yellow the dusty blue can look a little cold, so either move it to a plainer wall or use a white frame to give it a clean border.
