    How do I frame an art print?

    Good news—you don’t have to!

    All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

    Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

    What makes Fab frames so good?

    How do I hang art prints?

    It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

    Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

    Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

    Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

    Will the purple feel too pink or too cool in a warm room?

    The background sits between soft purple and dusty mauve rather than pure lilac, so it reads warm next to cream, oak and linen. In cooler rooms with grey walls it stays a touch cooler. If your room already leans strongly warm pink or peach, the print will still work but expect it to feel a little more mauve.

    Does it need a botanical companion or can it hang alone?

    It holds a wall by itself, especially above a bed, sofa or console. The vertical fern shapes give it enough structure to feel like a hero piece. If you do want to pair it, keep companions quieter — cream line drawings or soft abstract shapes work better than another strong botanical.

    How does the grainy, block-print texture read up close?

    The cream shapes have soft chipped edges and the purple background has a mottled, hand-printed feel rather than a flat wash. Close up it looks like a lino or block print. From a couple of metres away the texture reads as gentle warmth rather than noise, which is why it sits well above furniture.
