How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.
What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Will the pastel colours feel too sweet in a grown-up bedroom?
Not necessarily. The sky blue ground stops the pinks and peaches from tipping into candy territory, and the grainy risograph texture gives the whole thing a hand-printed, small-press feel. Keep the rest of the room pale and simple — linen bedding, pale wood, one lamp — and it reads playful rather than childish.
Does it work in a kids' room or nursery?
Yes, very well. The pastel palette is gentle, the shapes are simple and the mood is cheerful without being loud. It works above a cot, a small bed or a changing station, and it will still look right as the room grows up — the abstract geometry ages better than character prints.
Is the grainy texture actually part of the artwork?
Yes. The soft speckle mimics a risograph print, where ink sits on the paper unevenly and edges feather slightly. It's intentional and gives the piece a warmer, more handmade feel than a flat digital print. Up close you'll see the grain; from a couple of metres away the shapes read as clean pastel blocks.
