    How do I frame an art print?

    Good news—you don’t have to!

    All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

    Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

    How do I hang art prints?

    It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

    Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

    Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

    Is the background a true navy or more of a dusty blue?

    It reads as a deep dusty blue rather than a sharp navy — closer to a soft indigo with a slightly chalky texture. Against warm off-white walls it feels grounded and calm, and it plays nicely with pale oak and linen rather than fighting them the way a bright cobalt would.

    Will it work in a nursery without feeling too childish?

    Yes. The shapes are stylised but not cartoonish, and the palette is grown-up. It suits a nursery you'd like to grow with the child — a calm dove above a cot works just as well later above a small desk or reading chair, so you're not restyling in two years.

    Does the dark red border overpower the blue?

    No — it acts as a soft edge rather than a strong frame line. Up close you can see it's a muted, slightly weathered red-brown, which stops the deep blue from floating and helps the print sit on a pale wall without needing a heavy external frame around it.
