    How do I frame an art print?

    Good news—you don’t have to!

    All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

    Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

    What makes Fab frames so good?

    How do I hang art prints?

    It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

    Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

    Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

    Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

    Is the blue ink dark enough to read from across the room?
    Yes — the line work is deep blue against a lot of clean white, so it stays legible from several metres away. The cliffside houses and boats hold their shape even at medium size, which is why it works above a bed or console rather than tucked into a corner.

    Will this fight with a kitchen that already has bright tiles or splashbacks?
    It depends on the tile colour. Against plain white tiles or off-white walls it sits very happily. Against patterned blue-and-white tiles it can compete, so give it some clear wall space — at least a hand's width of plain wall around the frame is usually enough.

    Does the handwritten Amalfi Coast title sit close to the edge of the paper?
    There's a clear white margin below the script title, so it doesn't crowd the frame. The text is part of the artwork rather than a caption, and it stays comfortably inside any standard portrait frame proportion.
