    Papper i museikvalitet

    Matt finish
Matt papper betyder inga reflektioner.

How do I frame an art print?

    Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

What makes Fab frames so good?

Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

At Fab, we do things differently. Our frames are thoughtfully built to preserve and protect your artwork for the long haul. We use FSC-certified wood, 100% acid-free materials, and a UV-protective glaze to keep your print looking vibrant for decades.

That’s why our prints have an 80+ year archival lifespan—no fading, no yellowing, just art you’ll love for years to come.

If you're investing in art you love, it's worth framing it right.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

How blue is the blue — is it bright or more inky?

It reads as a deep, inky blue rather than a bright cobalt or royal. Up close you can see the flat, hand-printed quality of the colour, with subtle variation across each iris. Against off-white and dark green, the blue feels grounded and slightly muted, not loud — closer to dark denim or stormy sea than a vivid mid-blue.

Will the dark green leaves feel too heavy in a small room?

Not usually. The dark green sits along the lower half and is broken up by the pale irises and off-white background above, so the eye keeps moving. In small rooms it actually helps — it gives the space a single confident anchor rather than several competing pieces, and reads as restful rather than weighty.

Does it work without other Japanese pieces in the room?

Yes. The flat, graphic shapes sit happily alongside Scandinavian, Japandi and organic-modern interiors — pale wood, linen, stoneware and chalky walls. You don't need other Japanese motifs nearby. One quiet piece of pottery or a paper lampshade is enough to echo the mood without turning the room into a theme.
