How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.
What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Does the poster have a heavy typography feel, or is the floral painting the main event?
Both carry weight. The bold serif word-marks frame the scene at the top and bottom, but the painted flowers fill most of the picture. From two metres away the flowers read first; up close the typography anchors it as a poster rather than a pure floral painting.
Will the blues disappear on a navy or deep blue wall?
Yes, mostly. The print leans heavily on pale and mid blues, so a deep blue or navy wall will swallow them and only the orange gladioli and white daisies will pop. It looks best on off-white, soft grey, pale blue-grey or chalky neutral walls where the full range of blues can read.
Is this better above a sofa or above a sideboard?
Above a sideboard or console suits it best, because the busy lower half reads well when you can stand back two to three metres. Above a sofa also works in a larger room, hung a touch lower so the typography sits within easy eye-line when seated.
