    How do I frame an art print?

    Good news—you don’t have to!

    All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

    Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

    What makes Fab frames so good?

    How do I hang art prints?

    It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

    Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

    Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

    Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

    Is the figure on this drawing very prominent on the wall, or quite subtle?

    Subtle. The ground is near-white and the line work is soft chalky blue, so from across the room it reads as a calm, sculptural shape rather than a bold image. Up close, the figure and the confident line take centre stage. It's the kind of piece that draws people in rather than shouting from the doorway.

    Will the soft blue clash with warm interiors?

    It can sit oddly against terracotta, mustard or deep red walls — the blue is cool and chalky and looks thin next to strong warm colour. It's at its best on off-white, pale grey or soft plaster walls, alongside oak, ash, linen and stoneware. If your room is warm-toned, look at a drawing in sepia or warm grey instead.

    Does it work above a bed without feeling too exposed?

    Yes. The figure is stylised and sculptural rather than realistic, and the palette is so quiet that it reads more as a drawing of form than a nude per se. It sits comfortably above a low bed in an adult bedroom. For a shared family space or kids' room, choose something less figurative.
