How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.
What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Does this read as green overall, or is there more colour in it?
It mostly reads as soft olive and sage green on a cream background, with small dusty purple-blue gentian flowers and a touch of warm yellow on the lower bird's belly. From a distance it feels calm and green; up close you get the extra colour and fine detail.
Will it look too busy on a small wall?
No — the composition climbs in a long diagonal with lots of cream space around the leaves, so it actually feels quite open. On a narrow hallway wall or above a small writing desk it gives a sense of height without crowding the space.
What walls and woods does it sit best against?
It looks lovely on chalky off-white, soft sage or pale clay walls. Pale oak, walnut and aged leather all work, as do brass fittings and linen upholstery. Avoid very cool grey-white walls and high-gloss modern finishes, which fight the antique character.
