How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.
What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Will the soft palette feel washed-out on a white wall?
It can if the wall is bright builder-white and the light is harsh. On chalky off-white, warm plaster or pale grey walls it reads as restful rather than faded. If your wall is very stark, an oak frame helps anchor it and gives the soft tones something to lean against.
Is there enough contrast for it to be seen from across a room?
The warm sand rocks on the right and the band of darker sea give it a clear focal point, but this is a quiet piece by design. Across a large open room it reads as atmosphere rather than a sharp focal point — go larger if you need it to hold a wall on its own from distance.
Does the horizon sit centred or off to one side?
The horizon runs roughly across the upper third, and the visual weight pulls right where the sand-coloured rocks sit. Hang it slightly left of centre above a bed or console so the rocks land near the middle of the furniture below — it balances much better than dead-centre.
