How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.
What makes Fab frames so good?
Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Will the mustard background overwhelm a small room?
It's a confident piece, but the warm mustard reads closer to a paint colour than a clashing brightness once it's on the wall. In a small room, keep it as the only artwork on that wall and lean into warm neutrals around it — cream, oak, tan leather. What overwhelms a small room is competing colour, not this on its own.
Does the composition pull the eye left or right?
The horse runs from left to right with the head and weight on the right side, so the visual energy travels rightward. Hang it where that movement leads into the room rather than out of it — for example, on the left wall of a seating area, so the horse runs towards the sofa, not away from it.
Will it work in a room that already has colour?
Only if the existing colour is quiet and warm — terracotta, ochre, deep green, tan. It will fight pink, plum, cool grey or pastel schemes. The honest test: if your room already has one strong colour talking, this piece will argue with it. It works best as the loudest thing in the room.
