How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.
What makes Fab frames so good?
Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Will the bright pink and mustard clash with my off-white kitchen?
No — the print sits on an off-white background itself, so it reads as a contained block of colour rather than spilling across the wall. Against pale kitchen walls and timber, the pink, coral and mustard feel intentional. It only struggles against deep red or rich plum walls, where the warm pinks can fight the wall colour.
Is the FLEA MARKET text and opening hours part of the design?
Yes. The print is styled as a small piece of made-up market ephemera, with the words FLEA MARKET, Opens Saturday - Sunday and 10:00 to 14:00 set in plain black type beneath the chairs. The text is part of the charm, not a removable element, so the piece reads as a poster rather than a straight illustration.
Does it work in a small or narrow hallway?
It does, as long as you give it room to breathe above a console or shoe bench. The portrait shape suits narrow walls, and the off-white background stops it feeling heavy. In very tight hallways under about 50cm wide, drop to a smaller size so the individual chairs still read clearly.
