How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.
What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Will the dark background make a small hallway feel closed in?
It can if the hallway is very narrow and dimly lit. The deep greens read almost black in low light, which adds weight. In a hallway with a wall lamp, a window nearby, or pale walls, it sits beautifully — the cream and peach details lift it. If your hallway is small and dark, hang it as a single piece on the brightest wall and avoid stacking other dark art beside it.
How detailed is the artwork up close?
Very. Every tree canopy is built from small leaf shapes, the foreground is layered with grasses, ferns and small flowers, and there's a decorative border of trailing leaves and buds around the oval. It reads as a calm green block from across the room, then reveals more the closer you stand. That's why it rewards a larger size and a viewing distance of around 1.5 to 2.5 metres.
Does it work above a bed?
Yes, though on a side wall it tends to read better than directly above the headboard. The composition is portrait and quite vertical, and the dark background can feel heavy directly over a pillow. Above a low bench, dresser or reading chair in the bedroom works particularly well, with a lamp nearby to bring out the warmer tones in the trunks and flowers.
