How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.
What makes Fab frames so good?
Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Is the steak drawn in a graphic way or is it photo-realistic?
It's loose and hand-drawn — closer to a quick sketch than a photo. You get the shape of the steak, the board it sits on and tomatoes on the vine, all in deep green outline with one warm orange sticker for the word 'Steak'. It reads as friendly, not gory, and won't put squeamish guests off their dinner.
Will deep green and warm orange clash with a cream and grey kitchen?
No — the background is soft cream, so the print sits naturally against cream walls and warms up a cooler grey scheme rather than fighting it. The orange is a small accent, not a block of colour. If your kitchen already has strong red, hot pink or bright blue going on, it'll be less easy to place.
Is this readable from across a room or only up close?
The drawing reads from a few metres away, but the joke — 'Happiness can be fried' — is meant to be read close-up, the way you'd notice a small framed line above a coffee station. It works best somewhere people pause: by the hob, above a sideboard, or near the kettle.
