How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.
What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Will the yellow face always sit in the lower right corner?
Yes. The composition is fixed — the yellow smiley sits roughly in the lower right of the print, with the rest of the wall filled by black and white faces. Worth considering when you choose which side of a desk or doorway to hang it on, so the yellow ends up where the eye naturally lands.
Is this too cartoonish for an adult room?
It depends on the room. The line work is hand-drawn and the only colour is one yellow face, so it reads more graphic than cartoon. In a tidy home office, study or first flat with simple furniture it sits comfortably; in a heavily traditional room with antiques and patterned upholstery it will feel out of place.
Does the print show any words, logos or emoji-style faces?
No words and no logos. The faces are hand-drawn smileys with simple dots for eyes and a single curved line for a mouth — closer to a doodle than a phone emoji. There is no text anywhere on the print, which is part of why it works as a quiet mood lifter rather than a slogan piece.
