    How do I frame an art print?

    Good news—you don’t have to!

    All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

    Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

    What makes Fab frames so good?

    How do I hang art prints?

    It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

    Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

    Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

    Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

    Will the soft pink and yellow flowers read as too girly for a shared child's room?

    Not really. The crown is mixed — white daisies, green leaves, mauve and a little yellow — and the bird itself is black, white and cream, which keeps the whole thing balanced. Read as a group it feels botanical rather than pink. If you want to push it further, style below with sage, tan or navy accents.

    Is the background actually white or is it cream?

    It is a warm off-white, closer to cream than paper white. That matters when you hang it on a bright white wall, where the edge of the image will look slightly warm. Against cream, oat or soft sage paint it disappears into the wall nicely, which is the more flattering option.

    Does it need to hang high to work above a chest of drawers?

    No, keep it low. The bird's eye should sit near your own eye level, roughly 20 to 30cm above the furniture top. Hung too high the head tips out of view and the crown loses its impact. In a hallway, standard eye level works well as you walk past it.
