How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.
What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Will this feel too plain on a large wall?
The palette is soft, but the composition has a clear focal point — the silver moon and the angled thatched roof. On a larger wall, go up a size and leave generous breathing room around it; a single stoneware vase or trailing plant nearby is enough to anchor the space without crowding the print.
Does it work in a north-facing room with cool light?
Yes. The warm beige and stone tones gently warm up cooler daylight, which is why this piece sits so well in north-facing bedrooms and hallways. If your light is very cool, a slim oak or warm-wood frame will pull the warmth forward; a black frame will feel sharper and more graphic.
Can I hang it as a pair with another Sekka or Japanese print?
It pairs nicely with other quiet woodblock pieces — blossom, mountain, water — kept in the same soft stone, beige and muted olive range. Match frames, leave a consistent gap between them, and hang at eye-level above a low console, bed or bench so the two read as one calm group.
