How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.
What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Will this still feel right in spring and summer, or is it only an autumn piece?
It reads as autumn at first glance, but the palette — warm orange, rust, dusty blue and deep green — works year-round in english-country and farmhouse rooms. The painterly still life style means it sits closer to a traditional fruit and flower painting than a seasonal decoration, so most people leave it up through the year.
How busy is the image up close — will it overwhelm a small dining room?
It's a layered, painterly still life with lots going on in the leaves and gourds, so it reads as a single warm mass from across the room and rewards a closer look. In a small dining room, hang it solo above a sideboard rather than mixing it with patterned wallpaper or other busy art.
Does it work on a dark green or clay-painted wall, or only on white?
It actually sings on a warm dark wall. Deep green, warm clay and chalky off-white all suit it — the off-white border around the image gives the print its own breathing room, so it doesn't disappear into a coloured wall. Cool grey walls are the one finish to avoid.
