How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.
What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Will the soft cream ground look dirty or yellow on the wall?
No — the warm cream is intentional and part of the woodblock character. Against a chalky off-white or warm plaster wall it reads as soft and aged, not grubby. On a very cool bright-white wall the warmth becomes more obvious, which most Japandi and organic modern rooms welcome.
Does the dusty blue kimono read as blue or grey from a distance?
From across the room the kimono settles into a muted dusty blue-grey, with the patterning becoming a soft overall texture rather than distinct shapes. Up close you see the small warm brown and off-white motifs. It works well as a quiet colour anchor without dominating the wall.
Can I hang this in a busy, pattern-heavy room?
It can hold its own, but it shines in calmer settings. If your room already has strong florals, bold rugs or saturated upholstery, give the print a quieter wall — a plain plaster or off-white surface — so the soft palette and loose linework aren't competing with everything else.
