How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.
What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Is the Underground roundel and station text clearly legible?
Yes. The KEW GARDENS title sits in large dark green type at the base, with the Underground roundel and the line under it — District Line, Kew Gardens Station, TW9 3AB — printed clearly beneath. The text is readable from across an average room and reads as a deliberate travel-poster panel rather than a small caption.
Does the green dominate, or is the cream border noticeable on a wall?
The deep greens of the glasshouse fill most of the image, but the cream band at the base carrying the title gives the print a clear visual break. On a coloured or papered wall the cream reads as a soft border and stops the green from feeling heavy. On an off-white wall it disappears into the wall and the greens take over.
Will this work in a small room, or does it need a long wall?
It works in small rooms because the composition pulls the eye down the central path into the arched glasshouse, which gives a sense of depth rather than crowding. A narrow hallway, a small study or the wall above a console all suit it well. It does not need a long wall — it needs a tall one.
