How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.
What makes Fab frames so good?
Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Will the colours feel too busy in a small kitchen?
The palette is muted — soft pink, mustard, dusty blue and warm cream — so even though there's a lot going on, it reads as gentle from across the room. In a small kitchen, hang it on a calm off-white or clay wall and keep nearby surfaces uncluttered. The detail rewards close looks but it won't dominate the space.
Does it work without other art around it?
Yes. It's busy enough to hold a wall on its own, especially above a console, sideboard or in a breakfast nook. If you do want to pair it, choose one or two quieter botanical studies or a soft still life in matching warm tones and let this piece be the anchor.
What wall colour suits it best?
Soft, warm walls do the most for it — chalky off-white, warm clay, pale plaster pink, soft sage or a muted putty. Cool bright white can make the warm tones feel slightly orphaned, and very dark walls fight the chalky finish. Keep the wall calm and the print will carry the colour.
