How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.
What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Will the bright orange and yellow lilies overwhelm a calm room?
No, but they will lead the eye. The bright colours sit in small patches against a lot of blue water and green foliage, so the overall feel stays calm. If your room is mostly oat, cream, oak and linen, the orange and yellow will read as a warm accent rather than a takeover.
Is this better above a sofa or above a bed?
Either works. Above a sofa it acts as the main piece in a living room and reads well from across the space. Above a bed it brings colour to an otherwise plain wall without being noisy at close range. In both cases hang it centred and at eye level so the water reflections sit naturally.
Does the composition feel balanced top to bottom?
Yes. The top third holds the band of trees and the warm reflected light, the middle carries the lilies, and the bottom is mostly open blue water. That open lower section keeps the print from feeling heavy and gives the lilies room to breathe on the wall.
