How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.
What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Is the wording readable from across the room?
Yes at medium and larger sizes. The typewriter font is bold enough to read from about two metres away, which is roughly the depth of most bathrooms. At smaller sizes it still reads up close, which suits a spot beside a mirror or above a towel rail.
Will the punchline be too rude for kids or visiting family?
It's playful rather than crude, but the final line is definitely cheeky. If you've got young kids who are starting to read, or in-laws who'd rather not see it, hang it in a main bedroom or en suite rather than the family bathroom or guest loo.
Does it work in a room that isn't black and white?
Yes. Because it's purely black on off-white, it sits comfortably alongside almost any palette — warm wood, painted colour walls, tiled bathrooms, even darker schemes. It acts as a quiet graphic accent rather than fighting your existing colours.
