How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.
What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Is this too bold for a small living room?
Not usually. The tall, vertical composition keeps the colour contained, and the soft pink ground tone stops it feeling shouty. In a small room it works best as the one bold piece on the wall, with calmer textures like linen, rattan and painted timber doing the rest of the work.
What colours in the room would clash with it?
Cool grey schemes and cold blue-greys tend to fight the warm pink and orange. It's much happier against off-white, soft pink, buttery yellow or warm beige walls. If your room runs in cool greys, plan to add a warm rug or wood furniture to bridge the temperature.
Does it suit a kids' room or only grown-up spaces?
It does both. The flat colour and friendly hand-drawn style sit happily in a child's bedroom or playroom, but the New York subject and confident palette also hold up in a grown-up living room, kitchen or hallway. It's not a baby-nursery print, but older children and adults alike tend to enjoy it.
