How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Is the 'Underground' and District Line text part of the print, or can it be removed?
The District Line and station text along the bottom is part of the artwork and prints as shown. It's a small, restrained band beneath the title — readable up close, quiet from across the room — so it sits as a design detail rather than dominating the piece.
Will the deep greens feel heavy in a small hallway?
No — nearly half the image is a creamy off-white background, so the overall feel is light. The deep greens are concentrated around the edges, framing the pale glasshouse in the centre. In a small hallway it actually opens the space up rather than closing it in.
Does it work in a kitchen with real houseplants, or will it look like too much green?
It works really well with real plants. The illustration is flat and graphic, so it reads as one clear shape on the wall while living plants do their own thing around it. Aim for one or two larger plants nearby rather than a shelf full — the poster becomes the anchor.
