    How do I frame an art print?

    Good news—you don’t have to!

    All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

    Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

    What makes Fab frames so good?

    How do I hang art prints?

    It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

    Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

    Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

    Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

    Is the background a flat colour or does it have texture?

    The background is a painted warm brown with subtle painterly variation rather than a flat block — you can see the brush direction in the larger shapes. It reads as solid colour from across the room but holds visible hand-worked texture up close, which keeps it feeling like a painting rather than a graphic illustration.

    Will the olive green clash with a room that already has a lot of green plants?

    The olive sits on the muted, warm side rather than fresh-leaf green, so it generally agrees with houseplants rather than competing with them. If your room leans into cool blue-greens or bright lime, the warmth here may feel slightly off — it's happier alongside warmer foliage like olive, fig or rubber plant.

    Does the cat's gaze point in a particular direction?

    The cat looks straight ahead at the viewer, with eye contact rather than a side glance. That means it works centred on a wall — above a sideboard, sofa or reading chair — and doesn't need a partner on the opposite side to balance a directional gaze, which makes it well suited to hanging on its own.
