How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.
What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Will the red parrot clash with a warm-toned living room?
The reds in the print are dusty and slightly faded rather than bright pillar-box red, so they sit comfortably alongside terracotta, warm beige and oak. If your room already has a lot of bright red, the print will still work but you may want to keep other accents quieter.
Is the background plain enough to suit a busy hallway?
The background is a soft cream with grey-blue foliage drawn in a loose hand-drawn style. It reads as pattern but a quiet pattern, so it can hold its own in a hallway with a patterned runner or wallpaper without competing too hard.
How big should I go above a standard console table?
For a console around 90 to 120cm wide, the large size sits best — roughly two-thirds the width of the console, hung so the parrot is around eye level. Smaller sizes get lost because the piece has a lot of detail packed in.
