How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.
What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Is the fox the main focus or is it lost in the pattern?
The fox sits dead-centre and looks straight out at you, so it reads as the focal point even from across the room. The dense foliage frames it rather than competing with it — your eye lands on the face first, then drifts out into the leaves and flowers.
Will the text at the top and bottom of the poster read clearly at a smaller size?
At medium and large sizes the 'William Morris' header and 'Cotton Prints Exhibition' text stay easy to read from normal viewing distance. At the small size the smaller dates and times become decorative rather than legible — fine for the look, less so if you want every word readable.
Does the deep green background work in a small or low-light room?
Yes — the cream florals and warm fox keep the piece from feeling heavy, and the green actually flatters small, dim rooms by giving them depth. It works particularly well on a deep green or clay-painted wall, where the background blends in and the fox pops forward.
