How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.
What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Will the small flash of yellow clash with a mostly blue and white bedroom?
No — that little yellow hull is the whole point. The rest of the picture is washed blue and cream, so the yellow reads as a warm, friendly accent rather than a clash. It actually picks up nicely on brass fittings, pale oak, or any warm timber in the room.
Is this too quiet to work on its own above a bed?
Above a standard double or king bed, a medium portrait size holds the wall comfortably on its own. The wide sky and open water do the visual work. If your headboard is very wide, either size up to large, or hang it as part of a small pair with another soft coastal piece.
Does it suit a bathroom with steam and damp?
Framed behind premium acrylic glazing with a sealed backing, it handles a normal family bathroom well. Hang it away from direct shower spray and on the wall that gets the least humidity. Canvas is also a sensible choice in bathrooms as there is no glazing to mist up.
