How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.
What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Is the gold border part of the print or a separate frame?
The gold border is painted into the image itself, complete with the little ruby-like dots at each corner. It reads as a frame, but it isn't one. You can hang the print unframed and still get that finished look, or add a slim real frame on top for a layered effect.
Does this only work at Christmas, or can it stay up year-round?
Most people put it up for December, but the star and night sky aren't strictly festive — in a child's bedroom or nursery, it can easily live on the wall all year. The pink and blue carry it past the holidays without feeling out of season.
Is the pink very strong, or is it a softer blush?
It's a soft, slightly dusty pink rather than a hot or candy pink. The deep blue background calms it down, and the cream highlights on the star keep things gentle. It reads warm and friendly rather than loud.
