How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.
What makes Fab frames so good?
Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Will this feel too childish for a main living space?
It leans playful, but the muted cream, sky blue and dark green keep it grown-up enough for a hallway, kitchen or sunny corner of a living room. If your space is very minimal or quite formal, it will read more as a quiet, characterful piece than a kids' print.
What wall colour works best behind it?
Soft off-white, warm cream, very pale sage or a chalky pale blue all let it sit comfortably. Avoid deep reds, burgundy or strong terracotta walls — they fight the cream background and dull the warm orange figure that makes the piece work.
Does it work on its own or only in a group?
It works happily on its own above a sideboard, bed or shelf as a single piece. It also pairs well with one or two other quiet folk illustrations or simple line drawings in a small cluster of two or three. Keep companion pieces light and not too graphic.
