How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.
What makes Fab frames so good?
Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Is the Golden Gate Bridge included in the illustration?
No — this one focuses on the city itself. You'll spot the Transamerica Pyramid, Coit Tower, the Painted Ladies and hillside Victorian houses, with cypress trees and stepped gardens tucked between them. The bridge isn't part of the composition, so if that's the landmark you most want on the wall, this isn't the right print.
Will the soft pastel palette look washed out on a white wall?
Not in person. The buildings carry quiet pattern and small bursts of colour — peach, mustard, soft blue, muted green — which read clearly against off-white plaster. If your walls are very bright cool white, an oak frame with a generous mount warms it up and gives the illustration a stronger edge.
Does the print include the 'San Francisco, United States' caption shown?
Yes. The illustration sits above a small typographic caption reading San Francisco in serif capitals with United States below in a handwritten script. It's part of the composition, not an overlay, so the print arrives exactly as shown.
