How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.
What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
How bright are the orange whiskers in real life?
The orange is a small, deliberate flick — bright but used sparingly. Most of the print is deep blue ink on cream, so the orange reads as a warm accent rather than a second main colour. From across the room you'll see the cat first, the orange second.
Does the cream background look white, or genuinely warm?
It's a soft, warm cream rather than bright white. That keeps the blue ink looking inky rather than harsh and lets the print sit comfortably against off-white and cream walls. On a very cool grey or stark white wall, the warmth of the background will show clearly.
Will it look right in a room with no other animal art?
Yes — it reads more as a confident ink drawing than a pet picture. Plenty of buyers hang it in studies, hallways and living rooms with abstracts and botanicals nearby rather than other animals. The loose line keeps it feeling like art, not novelty.
