How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.
What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Is the blue water dark enough to read as water, or does it look like sky?
It reads clearly as water. The lower third is a deeper, slightly cooler blue than the sky above, with subtle reflection marks and a strong horizontal break where the buildings meet the waterline. On the wall, the contrast between the warm rooftops and the deep water reads instantly.
Will the bright orange and blue clash in a room that already has warm tones?
Generally no — the orange here sits in the mustard-to-terracotta range rather than pure bright orange, so it plays well with warm timber, cream and clay. The deep blue acts as a grounding base. If your room is already very saturated, pick a medium size rather than statement.
Is there a clear focal point or does the eye wander across the buildings?
The white bell tower in the upper third is the anchor — the eye lands there first, then travels down across the rooftops to the water. Hang it so the tower sits roughly at eye level when you're standing, and the composition does the rest.
