How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.
What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Will the yellow stripes look too strong in a small bedroom?
Not usually. The yellow only covers a portion of the picture and sits inside a lot of soft cream and pale blue, so it reads as one warm note rather than a dominant colour. In a small bedroom it tends to lift the room rather than overwhelm it, especially against pale walls and white bedding.
Is the sea shown as a calm horizon or a rough seascape?
It's calm. The water is painted in steady horizontal brushstrokes in deep blue and turquoise, with a soft band of paler blue near the horizon. There's no surf, no boats, no figures — just a clean stretch of sea seen through a white balcony, which is part of why the picture stays so quiet.
Does the composition work better above a bed or behind a desk?
Above a bed. The vertical balustrade and tall stripe of towel give it a strong vertical pull that suits a headboard wall, where you want a single anchor. Behind a desk it can still work, but the openness of the sky tends to make more sense in a room where you sit back and look across, like a bedroom or sitting room.
