How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.
What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Will this look too warm in a north-facing room?
It actually works hard in cooler rooms — the warm orange and terracotta lift north-facing light that can feel flat. The deep blue sky and dark cypress trees stop it tipping into saccharine. If your room is already warm and sunlit, hang it on a wall that doesn't get direct afternoon sun so the colour stays true.
How big does it need to be to land properly?
Larger sizes carry the bold colour best — A2 or above as a rough guide. Anything smaller and the strong palette starts to feel cramped against the composition. If you only have a narrow wall, the vertical format helps, but give it at least 60-80cm of clear wall either side so it can breathe.
Does the path lead the eye in a particular direction?
Yes — the orange path runs up from the bottom centre and pulls the eye toward the villa, slightly left of centre. That makes it a strong solo piece on a wall you walk toward, like a hallway or stair landing, rather than a wall you pass alongside.
