    How do I frame an art print?

    Good news—you don’t have to!

    All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

    Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

    What makes Fab frames so good?

    How do I hang art prints?

    It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

    Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

    Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

    Will the warm yellow stripes feel too loud on a cream wall?

    No — the mustard yellow is soft and painterly rather than bright, and it sits between cream and peach stripes that calm it down. On a cream or warm off-white wall it reads as cosy, not loud. If your wall is very white and cool, expect a slightly stronger contrast.

    How big should I go above a small sideboard or reading chair?

    A medium size is the sweet spot above a low sideboard, reading chair or sofa side table — roughly two-thirds the width of the furniture. Hang it a hand's width above the surface so it feels connected to the piece rather than floating high on the wall.

    Does it work in a cooler grey or blue room?

    It can, but it will pull the room warmer rather than blend in. The pale blue bowl in the painting gives a small bridge to cool tones, so pair it with warm timber, a linen cushion or a stoneware lamp to tie the two temperatures together. In an all-cold scheme it will feel like an accent rather than a match.
