How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.
What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Will the warm cream background look yellow next to a bright white wall?
It will read as warmer and softer next to a crisp white wall, which is usually flattering rather than jarring. If your walls are very cool blue-white, the cream will look noticeably warm — fine if you want contrast, less ideal if you want it to disappear. On limewashed, off-white or pale plaster walls it blends naturally.
Is this suitable for a child's bathroom or playroom?
Yes — the colour palette is bright and the crayon style feels playful without being babyish, so it suits kids' bathrooms, family bathrooms and playrooms without dating quickly. It also holds up in a grown-up kitchen, so you won't need to swap it out when the children grow.
Does it work in portrait orientation above a narrow console or shelf?
Yes, it's designed portrait and sits well above a narrow console, painted bench or small shelf where a landscape piece would feel squat. Aim for a wall width of at least 50 cm and hang at eye level — around 145-150 cm from floor to centre — so the umbrellas read clearly.
