How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.
What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Will the soft green sky read as cool or warm on the wall?
It reads warm overall. The sky is a soft mint-green rather than a cold blue, and it sits next to deep greens, mustard and reds, so the whole print warms a room rather than cooling it. It works happily on cream, off-white and warm-white walls.
Is the composition busy enough to overwhelm a small bedroom?
It is a busy painting, so give it some breathing room. Above a single bed or a low chest in a small bedroom it can still work if the rest of the wall stays clear and the bedding is calm and plain. In a very small room, size down rather than crowding the wall.
Does it need a frame to look finished as a print?
Framed looks best for this one. The painterly edges suit a clean oak or warm brown frame with a small white border, which steadies the image and lets the colour do the work. Unframed it still reads well pinned up, but a frame lifts it to feature-piece status.
