How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.
What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Will the soft pink and blue feel too feminine in a shared bedroom?
The pink and blue are very muted and sit inside a largely off-white field, so the piece reads as calm and traditional rather than overtly soft or feminine. Against pale oak, linen and warm off-white walls it feels balanced, and pairing it with a darker wood frame or grounding furniture adds weight.
Does this work in a small bedroom or hallway, or is it too tall?
The portrait composition actually suits narrower walls well — it draws the eye up and makes a small space feel taller. Above a low headboard, slim console or in a single-piece hallway spot it sits comfortably. Just leave a little breathing room either side so the cranes have space to read.
How visible is the woodblock texture, and does it look like an old print?
Yes — the reproduction keeps the soft grain, slight ink variation and faded edges of the original Japanese woodblock, including the artist's signature block on the left. It reads as a museum-style poster of an old print rather than a clean modern illustration, which is part of the appeal.
