How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.
What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Will the soft off-white background look grubby on a white wall?
No — the ground is a warm off-white, not bright white, so on a cooler white wall it reads as a gentle, warmer tone rather than dirty. On warm plaster or chalky off-white walls it blends almost seamlessly, letting the black and tan linework do the talking. If your walls are very crisp brilliant white, a slim black frame helps give the print a clear edge.
Are the three dogs meant to be greyhounds, whippets or lurchers?
The drawing reads as sighthounds in general — the long muzzles, fine heads and slim necks fit greyhounds, whippets, lurchers and Italian greyhounds. It isn't a likeness of a specific breed standard, so it works as a gift for owners of any of these dogs rather than a strict breed portrait.
Does it work on its own or only as part of a gallery wall?
It works both ways. Solo, it's a quiet anchor above a console, sideboard or reading chair in a medium size. In a small cluster of three or four, it sits well alongside botanical line art, soft abstracts or another animal study in similar warm neutrals — keep companions calm rather than colourful.
