How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.
What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Will the soft green background look washed out in a bright room?
It holds up better than you'd think. The greens are muted but layered, and the white dress reads as a clean light source against them, so strong daylight tends to lift the painting rather than flatten it. In a very sun-bleached south-facing room, an oak frame helps anchor the edges.
Is the figure looking left or right — which side should it hang on?
Her gaze and body lean slightly to the left of the frame, so the print pulls the eye that way. Hang it a touch right of centre on a longer wall, or dead-centre above a bed or console where the small lean adds movement rather than imbalance.
Does it work next to other Van Gogh prints?
Not really. It's quieter than Sunflowers, Starry Night or the self-portraits, and pairing it with those tends to make it look like the warm-up act. It does sit well next to small botanical studies, a quiet landscape, or a soft still life in the same green-and-cream range.
