How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.
What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Does the poster have 'VENICE' lettering across the bottom?
Yes. The word VENICE sits in clean dark lettering across a cream border at the foot of the image, in the classic vintage travel-poster style. If you'd prefer a version without lettering, this isn't the one — the typography is part of the design and isn't removable.
Is the blue too bright for a calm hallway?
The blue is bright but balanced by warm cream borders, terracotta rooftops and a softer washed blue in the canal water. In a hallway with off-white or pale walls, it reads as cheerful rather than loud, and the cream border gives the eye somewhere to rest.
Will this work alongside other travel posters?
Yes — it's designed for it. The flat colour, cream border and lettering style match other vintage travel-poster work. For best results, keep companions in similar warm or coastal palettes and avoid mixing in dark moody abstracts or heavy photography on the same wall.
