    How do I frame an art print?

    Good news—you don’t have to!

    All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

    Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

    How do I hang art prints?

    It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

    Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

    Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

    Will the pink background look too girlish in a boy's room?
    It reads as dusty clay rather than bright pink, closer to a terracotta wall than a sweet pastel. Set against warm timber, linen and cream ceramics it feels like natural history, not nursery. If you want it firmly grounded, a black frame and a darker wall pull it further towards museum than candyfloss.

    Can I hang this in a hallway rather than a bedroom?
    Yes, and it works well there. The portrait shape suits narrow walls, and the warm background lifts a corridor that gets little daylight. Hang it at eye level with about 60cm of clear wall width, and keep the wall either side plain so the wingtips have room to read as you pass.

    Does the fine linework still read at a smaller size?
    The three birds are large in the frame, so the shapes hold even small. The finest hatching in the wings is where detail is lost first, so if you want that texture visible from a step back, choose a medium panel. Small sizes work best where you view them close, like beside a desk.
