    Om detta konstverk

There's a reason folk illustrators kept returning to the pumpkin; rooms still respond. Painted in bright orange on warm cream, with a sliced half showing a little flower of seeds, this is a small piece of seasonal cheer that doesn't take itself seriously.

Put it on a kitchen wall and the room lifts. Cream cabinets stop feeling flat, wood worktops warm up, and the orange ties together anything terracotta or brass already in the space.

It's at its best above a kitchen counter, in a breakfast nook, or on a narrow dining wall — at eye level, where you'll see it while making coffee. A small or medium size suits most kitchens; go larger only on a clear feature wall.

Pair it with stoneware, linen, oak shelving, and woven baskets. An oak or black frame keeps the folk-art feel honest.

Don't crowd it with other strong oranges or competing food prints — let it be the one cheerful voice in the room. Printed on thick fine-art paper with a soft matte finish.

    Tryck, Papper och Ramar

    TRYCK OCH PAPPER:

    Precis giclée-tryck
Varje tryck görs med högupplösta giclée-skrivare. Det ger skarpa detaljer, rika färger och en finish i gallerikvalitet. Våra tryck håller i över 100 år.

    Papper i museikvalitet
Vi använder premium, tungt konstpapper med matt yta. Det framhäver detaljer, toner och texturer på ett vackert sätt.

    Matt finish
Matt papper betyder inga reflektioner.

How do I frame an art print?

    Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

What makes Fab frames so good?

Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

At Fab, we do things differently. Our frames are thoughtfully built to preserve and protect your artwork for the long haul. We use FSC-certified wood, 100% acid-free materials, and a UV-protective glaze to keep your print looking vibrant for decades.

That’s why our prints have an 80+ year archival lifespan—no fading, no yellowing, just art you’ll love for years to come.

If you're investing in art you love, it's worth framing it right.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Will this feel too 'halloween' once October is over?

No — there's no carving, no face, no spooky cues. It's a folk still life of a pumpkin and its cross-section, closer to a botanical plate than a seasonal decoration. It sits happily on the wall year-round, especially in kitchens and dining rooms where food imagery already belongs.

How big should I go in a small kitchen?

Stick to small or medium. The composition is a single subject on a generous cream ground, so it reads clearly even at modest sizes. Above a counter or breakfast nook, medium is the sweet spot. Save the larger sizes for a clear feature wall in a dining room or open-plan space.

Does the orange clash with warm wood worktops?

It tends to do the opposite — the orange picks up the warmth in oak, pine, and butcher-block, and the cream ground keeps things from feeling heavy. Where to be careful is rooms that already lean hard into rust or terracotta on the walls; there the print can feel like one orange too many.
