How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.
What makes Fab frames so good?

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Will the small blue motif clash if my room has no other blue?
No — the blue is a small folk detail rather than a main colour. It reads as a warm accent alongside the brown, cream and black, so it works even in rooms with no other blue. If you'd like to echo it, a small stoneware bowl or a linen cushion in a soft washed blue will tie things together without matching.
Is this piece too bold for a small room?
It's a strong, grounded piece rather than a loud one. In a small room it works best as the single hero on the main wall — above a sofa, bed or console — with quieter styling around it. Avoid pairing it with lots of other patterned or busy art in the same small space; give it room to be the focal point.
What wall colour suits this best?
It sings against chalky off-white, warm plaster, soft putty and gentle clay tones. Deep warm whites and muted terracotta walls also work. It's less happy on cool blue-grey or bright cool white walls, where the warm brown can start to feel out of step with the rest of the room.
